Early shots

Just a few images worth sharing from our first few days...
Our second night in England was spent at Templeton Village near Tiverton in Devon. We went for a walk just as the sun was setting and this is what we saw. Below is the village notice board, posting box and public telephone. There is even a pump for water, left over from a bygone era.

While we were travelling across the south of England to reach the ferry in Dover, we happened upon this ancient wonder.

  1. At least you have nice summer weather and long evenings. Great sunset and cute village conveniences, and the famous stone henge all in a days fun.

  2. Did you stop at Stone Henge? When we were there, it was blowing a gale and raining. So a quick dash to take some pics, a coffee and back in the car.

    1. Hi Bill! I spent plenty of time at Stonehenge when I visited in 2011. We had lovely weather and I took a ridiculous amount of photos - many of them identical! This one was taken out of the window of a speeding car, so I'm pretty happy with it.
