The Norwegian countryside was similar to Sweden, but with the addition of pine and birch forests. Oslo provided a spectacular contrast with an incredibly beautiful harbour, a fortress complex, ultra modern buildings, an amazing park with statues and the international performing arts conference to boot. A fabulous city!
